New Technology for Infusion Molding

InfuZene Now Available in a Spray Canister

Since last year's launch of InfuZene Vacuum Infusion Enabler, many boatbuilders and composite manufacturers have used InfuZene to advance their vacuum infusion process. InfuZene replaces spray adhesives during set up, holding layers of dry materials together for bagging. During the curing process, InfuZene crosslinks and hardens along with the ester or styrene resins to form one integrated structure. Manufacturers with large projects liked InfuZene, but expressed interest in a amore accommodating dispenser for high volume use. In response to that, Westech is now offering InfuZene in 27-pound pressurized canisters. Westech's elf-contained, environmentally friendly, protable canister system utilizes a reusable gun and hose, eliminating the need for air-assisted application systems. This system will allow continous application of InfuZene for large projects when a 13-ounce can is insufficient.
